When quilting, the quilt is rolled onto the Pickup roller causing the diameter of the roll to increase as more of the quilt is completed. It is important to adjust the Pickup roller to clear the head for smooth quilting.

When quilting, the quilt is rolled onto the Pickup roller causing the diameter of the roll to increase as more of the quilt is completed. It is important to adjust the Pickup roller to clear the head for smooth quilting. Not raising the pickup roller will create drag while quilting.
To adjust the Pickup Roller on the black GS1 Table:
- Turn the handle at the right end of the Pick-Up Roller to raise or lower (clockwise to raise, counter clockwise to lower).
- Raise the roller so the roller clears the throat of the machine by ½”.
- Check the height of the Pick-Up Roller before you roll and after.

To adjust the Pickup Roller on the white Home Pro Table:
- Manually adjust the height of the Pick-Up Roller at each end of the table by cautiously loosening the black knob. Be aware the adjustment arm is spring-loaded. Move the bar up or down and retighten. This must be done on both ends of the table.
- Measure the height at each end to be sure the roller is level.
- Raise the roller so the roller clears the throat of the machine by ½”.
- Check the height of the Pick-Up Roller before you roll and after.
