Start a New Project
Choosing New Project under the File dropdown menu will refresh the CreativeStudio screen and wait for you to choose (or create) some patterns. If a project is already open in CreativeStudio, you will be given the option to save the project before a new one replaces it.
You can also use the keyboard shortcut of Ctrl + N to open a new project.
Open a Project
To open a project you have previously saved, use Open Project (or its keyboard shortcut of Ctrl + O) in the Edit menu. This action will present a file dialog box, (titled “Select Stitcher Project File to Open”) so you can navigate to the project you want to use. Find the project you need, highlight it, and click “Open”.
Open a Recent Project
Using the Recent Projects option under the Edit dropdown menu is a convenient way to access your most recently saved projects. When you select this option, a window appears showing the names and dates of the most recently used projects.
Save a Project
Use the Save Project or Save Project As option to save your current project. If your project has not been previously saved, you will be prompted to give it a name and location. When the current project has no filename, or if a second copy of the project is desired, the Save Project As option allows the current project to be saved with a new name.
You can also save a project using the keyboard shortcut of Ctrl + S or the Save icon in the Project tab.
Projects are saved with a file extension of .proj or .projx. The latter is an encrypted project that contains encrypted patterns.
